Natalia Scheidegger

CEO – 3rdmill 

After earning her civil engineering degree from Sydney University, Natalia began her career in the field before transitioning to strategy consulting at Deloitte. Just over 10 years ago, following her father’s unexpected passing, Natalia left the corporate world to take on his role leading 3rdmill – the managed services provider he, as an immigrant, had built from the ground up – despite having no technical or leadership experience. Initially embodying the phrase “fake it till you make it,” Natalia has since developed a genuine passion for technology, the people in the industry, and the business impact it drives. 
 
Today, Natalia leads a team of around 30 talented engineers and developers who help SMBs with their technology needs – from Microsoft and cloud to security and automation. Under her guidance, 3rdmill continues to grow through a mix of organic sales and inorganic acquisitions, with the vision of scaling while staying true to its customer-first ethos. 
 
Natalia has been recognised as the recipient of the Global Women in Technology Award from Pax8 and as a multi-year finalist at the ARN Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA). She also serves on the leadership team of the WIT Network and the board of the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation Melbourne, advocating for greater representation of women in tech and business leadership. 
 
Outside of work, Natalia is a wife and proud mum to a spirited five-year-old. She also enjoys marathon running and adventure travel, which keep her energised and grounded, and remind her that serious work doesn’t have to come at the expense of joy and discovery.
